Zeppelin Arkitektar, having recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary, was founded in 1997 by owner Orri Árnason shortly after  he completed his architecture studies in Madrid, Spain.  During this time the studio has grown, now employing 10-15 people including architects, interior architects and constructing architects and also has a branch office in Selfoss.  The office focuses on projects of all sizes from small additions to large buildings such as schools and office facilities as well as all types of residential construction.   Zeppelin Arkitektar also participates in urban planning and research.  With the increase in staff, attention has turned to the final stages of construction bidding and management.

Zeppelin Arkitektar is quick to translate schematic design sketches into 3D models from which all other drawings are produces .  In this way, the latest 3D technologies and their obvious benefits are integrated into the design process rather than being used simply as presentation tools.

Zeppelin Arkitektar is inspired by both its location in the dynamic city of Reykjavík and Iceland as a whole as well as the international experiences and perspectives of its expanding staff.
